Carollee Nickels CDA, RDA, RDH, BA

Chief Instructor

Carollee received her Bachelor’s degree in Professional Technical Education from California State University Sacramento in 2008, graduating summa cum laude. Carollee began her career in dentistry as an orthodontic dental assistant and continued her passion for dentistry by attending Sacramento City College and receiving a degree in dental hygiene in 1995. She has worked simultaneously in private dental practices, and in education as a theoretical and clinical instructor of dental assisting and dental hygiene students. She has been teaching all aspects of dental assisting for 9 years. The most rewarding moments in her career have been watching her students transition from their first day in school to the dental healthcare professionals that they become upon graduation, and beyond.

Dr. Harless DDS, FAGD


Dr. Harless is the Owner and practicing Dentist of Southwest Dental Arts in Boise, Idaho. She is the director of Mainspring Dental Training Center in Idaho. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Idaho Dental Association, the Dental Success Network, The American Academy of Oral and Systemic Health, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Sarah Foster


Sarah is the Administrator at Mainspring Dental Training Center. Sarah attended school to become a Dental Assistant at The Milan Institute and graduated in May of 2008 with a 4.0 GPA.
