What is the occupational outlook for dental assistants?

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics employment of dental assistants is expected to grow 19 percent from 2016 to 2026

How long is the dental assisting program at Mainspring

13 weeks consisting of 128 clock hours (78 lecture/ lab hours plus 50 hours of externship)

How much does it cost?

The total cost of the course is $3497.00. A 10% discount is offered if payment is received in full prior to the first class meeting. An interest free payment plan is also available.

When and where are classes held?

Classes are held 2 evenings a week currently from 5:30- 9:00pm at 1201 S. Five Mile Rd., Boise, in the Southwest Dental Arts building.

When does the next class start?

September 2019

Is the program registered or accredited?

The program is registered with the Idaho State Board of Education and approved by the Idaho State Board of Dentistry

Will Mainspring find an office for me to complete my 50 hours of externship?

Yes, we will make the necessary arrangements to place you in an office for your 50 hours of externship.

Will I receive a certificate or license upon completion of the program?

A certificate of completion is awarded when you have successfully passed all course requirements.
